Enable the extension

On Mac, open Safari → Settings → Extensions, then enable Pinterest Ads & Promo Remover.

On iPhone or iPad with iOS 18 or later, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions, then enable Pinterest Ads & Promo Remover.

Allow access to the Pinterest websites you use in Safari's extension controls. Reload the Pinterest tab after changing permissions.

Make it yours

Open the extension in Safari to choose filters, columns, and spacing. Automatic columns adapt to your window; your settings stay on this device. Ad hiding remains enabled while the extension is on.

On Mac, choose View larger on a custom-grid pin to preview the image, save it to a Pinterest board, or export it. Pinterest saves require you to be signed into Pinterest. On iPhone and iPad, tap a custom-grid card to open the pin normally; preview, board-save, and image-export controls are not included.

Save an image on Mac

The image export opens in a separate tab. Choose Download image or open the original image and use Safari's native controls. Your feed remains in the original tab.

If something looks wrong

Reload Pinterest, confirm website permissions, and check for an App Store update. Turn off Remove empty spaces to return to Pinterest's native layout. The extension works on Pinterest websites in Safari; it does not modify the Pinterest app.

Your purchase

One upfront App Store purchase includes the Safari edition on Mac, iPhone, and iPad. No extension account or subscription is required. Reinstall using the Apple Account used for purchase. Chrome and Firefox subscriptions are separate.
